The Surfix® E-F features a firmly-attached probe and therefore is interesting for customers with defined measurement tasks e. g. at hard-to-reach spots. The device can perform measurements on magnetic base materials like iron/steel.

The Surfix® E-F operates with the proven magnetic measuring principle for coating thickness measurements on iron/steel according to DIN EN ISO 2178 standards. It provides high accuracy even on thin coatings.

The measuring probes of the Surfix® E-FN gauges have a highly wear-resistent carbide pole tip and therefore almost unlimited durability. The plastic foot is equipped with a v-groove and ensures an upright positioning even on cylindrical or curvatured surfaces. An optional high-temperature foot allows for measurements on surfaces with temperatures to 300 °C.

The clear menu structure guarantees a simple handling and comprehensible operation instructions. The free language selection – German, English and French as well as many other languages like Spanish, Italian, Polish etc. - contributes to an unmistaken handling and prevents incorrect measurements.

The Surfix® E-F features a large data storage, statistic functions, three calibration methods and data transfer via infrared and cable.
