Motic Z-14 Continuous Zoom Video System
Video Zoom System 1 : 14 Video zoom system with standard auto focus and capture functions to handle a variety of inspection tasks. Description The Motic Z-14 combines the best of an optical stereomicroscope 1 : 14 optical zoom with the best of a video based system auto focus in one system for video inspection and documentation simple measurement and specimen cataloguing. The standard system consists of six parts: (1) Zoom Assembly (2) Objective (3) Stand (4) Control box (5) Hand Remote and (6) Motic Images Plus 2.0 ML software which are combined to complement each other in produce a user-friendly instrument. Equipped standard with a working distance of 172mm (0.5X objective) and an optical zoom ratio of 1 : 14 the Z-14 can easily be used in numerous tasks. The overall system outputs >480 lines of recognition to lessen the strain on the users eyes when viewing small samples. Since the standard system is similar to a regular stereomicroscope setup space consumption is kept to minimum. Moreover keeping the same principle of a stereomicroscope the Z-14's standard system is easily expandable with numerous accessories to meet any requirement of the task. Features Focus Control - The Z-14 system via the hand remote allows the user to switch between the default auto focus and manual focus controls. The manual focus control is useful for applications and/or samples with numerous heights Brightness Control - Though equipped with a 1 lux sensitivity different environments may require some adjustment in the brightness. The Z-14's system permits such adjustments in addition to providing a backlight effect for image clarity and harmony. Zoom Controls - With stereomicroscope like functions the Z-14 offers two types of zoom: STEP and FINE. STEP controls the magnification by whole numbers whereas the FINE resembles a zoom stereomicroscope with continuous zoom. 3-Simultaneous Outputs - The Z-14 is capable of outputing visual information via RCA S-Video and USB2.0 simultaneously thus allowing observation across many media devices with documentation always close at hand. Documentation Software - Complementing the functions of the video zoom system the Motic Images Plus 2.0 ML software expands the Z-14 from a simple observation system into a true inspection and documentation system. Manual measurement - The software allows for the user to measure the captured image with nine different types of manual measurement with the results able to be export to EXCEL. Calibration - The Z-14's camera is able to be calibrated to provide higher accuracy. All calibrations can be saved and reloaded at a different time for convenience and repeatibility. Image comparison - Built into the software is the image comparison function to empower the user with instant inspection comparison between two samples. An ideal function for training standardizing and forensics. Cataloguing - All images captured by the Z-14 are automatically catalogue into a temporary library folder to avoid lose due to accidential deletion. The software permits specific folders and paths to be assigned for convenient storage of images for later referral.
