A digital, hardness testing machine for Rockwell, Rockwell Superficial and Brinell hardness scales. The dolphin-nose indenter arm enables easy reach of interior and exterior surfaces. Real-time electronic test force control for accurate loading is used to eliminate load force overshoot. Features an indenter escape function for continuous testing at a fixed table position, eliminating any potential for instability caused by table retraction. Auto-stop elevation of the power-driven table and automatic preliminary test force loading provides stable test force generation. Cylindrical and spherical surface compensation and offset is available, and readings may be converted to other hardness scales. The touch screen provides convenient control of instrument operation and displays the measurement results digitally. Statistical calculations can be performed on the results if required.
