Description
The YOWEXA EC-2000 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge provides precise non destructive thickness testing for a wide range of industrial applications. It measures steel aluminum copper and other metals as well as non-metals including plastic glass ceramics and PVC. Using ultrasonic pulse reflection technology it delivers a measurement range of 0.04 to 15.7 inches (1 to 400 mm) with reliable accuracy for quality control maintenance and engineering tasks. It features adjustable sound velocity from 1000 to 9999 m/s and supports single or continuous modes with a fast response and a coupling status indicator for stable readings even on rough or curved surfaces. The backlit LCD display ensures easy reading in any lighting. The instrument stores up to 100 readings with min and max statistics and allows quick switching between mm and inch units. Its rugged ABS housing with IP40 protection and compact ergonomic design make it an excellent tool for petrochemical shipbuilding aerospace and automotive industries. Note This device is not suitable for cast iron or porous materials due to ultrasonic wave scattering characteristics.
