Grips & Fixtures GF-1
This general purpose vice-action grip features jaws which are manually tightened to secure the sample.
The grips will hold samples up to 1.2-inches (30 mm) in diameter and with widths up to 1.75-inches (45 mm).
A ball socket mounting screw on the upper grip helps ensure axial alignment.
Grips have hardened steel serrated faces.
Capacity 225 lbf (1 kN)

Used for tensile testing on small components wire thread cord miniature parts etc.
