Optics

The Greenough optical system is fully parfocal and offers a crisp, three-dimensional upright image through a binocular or trinocular head inclined 35 degrees and rotatable 360 degrees. Ergonomic 10X FN 23 widefield high eyepoint eyepieces are set in a Seidentopf movement with 54mm-76mm of interpupillary adjustment and +/- 5 degrees of dioptric adjustment. Dual zoom control knobs operate a 6.7:1 zoom ratio for 7.5X to 50X total magnification and 5 click-stop detents allow for precise, repetitive observations. An industry-leading working distance of 113mm (4.5") offers plenty of space to work on specimens under observation.

Focus & Illumination

Dual rack and pinion focus controls are conveniently positioned and feature tension adjustment for responsive and precise movement. For added flexibility, choose between variable intensity, 12V10W halogen or 3W LED illumination from an integrated 110V - 220V universal power supply.

Stand

The FBGG stand features a 32mm vertical post and a wide platform base offering a large, 330mm x 280mm working surface with chemical-resistant finish. Black/white and frosted stage plates and 2 spring clips are included.
